A small architectural jewel in the heart of Rome, the Donna Camilla Savelli, a hotel resort located in a seventeenth century convent, was designed by Francesco Borromini (1599-1667). The hotel owes its name to the founder of the religious institution. It was year 1642 when Camilla Savelli. A Farnese noblewoman, commissioned the convent of “Santa Maria dei Sette Dolori” and the adjoining homonymous church to Francesco Borromini.
