  We had a wonderful time staying at the hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. the wine tasting night was a hit, we met some lovely people!

  The hotel staff was extremely helpful and courteous from the front desk, the concierge and the bartenders. the hotels location couldn't be better. blocks from the train station and walk out the door of the hotel and you are at a subway stop. i will stay here again.

  Offre de base correcte (chambre un peu "passée" avec taches par-ci par-là) mais tous les suppléments ont un prix élevé (bar, supplément jus orange frais). vous avez sans doute meilleur temps de réserver des excursions directement dans des agences spécialisées car le service ne correspond pas à celui décrit au desk par écrit (et redit par oral). personnel très agréable.

  A friendly , relaxing hotel. web photos very representative - not just well angled photos as on so many hotel websites. food in restaurant very good bath could be a little wider (but then i could be alittle slimmer!!) toast machine could be set a little higher - but if we had asked it would probably have happened) so, all in all, a really enjoyable stay and so close to the metro when you get back after a busy day

  Our stay at the hotel napoleon during christmas/ new years 2010/2011 was wonderful. the staff exceeded our expectations in every way. they were kind, knowledgable and proactive in assisting us with directions and recommendations for travel, tours and restaurants. the food in the hotel restaurant also exceeded our expectations. we ate at the hotel on christmas eve and new year's eve and the food and service was fantastic. as we stayed a total of 11 nights at hotel napoleon, the concierge upgraded us to a larger room after our first night. we were very grateful that the hotel was able to accommodate us in this regard. the location of the hotel is walking distance to most of rome's main attractions. although we walked for the most part, on occasion we utilized the subway, which was conveniently located right outside the hotel. we would strongly recommend this hotel and its wonderful staff to anyone traveling to rome.

  They forgot our pre-booked extras. coffee at breakfast was disappointing - jug of hot water and nescafe sachet. in italy!! beware taxis. rome termini station to hotel (5 min walk when we walked over next day to book train tickets) was 29 euros incl. 5 for heavy bag. return journey booked through hotel was 10 euros. overall delighted with hotel and food in restaurant v good.

  Wonderful staff. the room and bathroom were good. the breakfast was very nice and dinner in the restaurant was lovely. however, the common areas were in need of updating. the upholstery was dirty and worn and there was a musty odor.

  Best hotel we ever went to and trust me we have seen a lot of high end hotels and yet you don't pay a high end price for a room here! from the moment you step thru the door, the staff makes you feel right at home and the whole place feels like home from the incredible breakfast buffet where staff greets you with a huge smile and a friendly goodmorning and fast, fast service all the way to the reception desk where both gentlemen may as well be your friends....it was an amazing experience for us. quiet rooms, very clean, all amenities including free wifi in the room, at a great price. no, they did not pay me to say this, and no i am not part of their staff. we are a dutch-american couple with a 13 year old, we stayed for 6 nights and when in rome, no doubt we will go right back to this hotel. any other hotel just would not do that's how good they are! milla grazie, hotel napoleon.

  We loved the hotel. the location was wonderful because the metro was right outside the door. the staff was helpful and friendly. there was a large lobby with many seating areas. the room was very spacious and there were terry cloth robes and slippers provided. the room was also very clean. we recommend the breakfast because there were many choices and it was well worth the money and very convenient. w would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

  The reception staff were very friendly and very helpful, especially roberto. they gave map and directions. most importantly, the metro stop was infront of the hotel which made it easy to travel around.

  Need more directions from metro stop, very confusing as the passage forks 1-2 times, we ended up walking quite a bit with bags around a huge block. finally found, and there was a stop in front, we just didn't know how many lefdt or right turns to find it.

  The reason the sound insulation was only average was because we had an adjoining room. sound traveled through the door very easily and one night we had very loud neighbors that we had to ask to be quiet. the location was perfect for the metro and to neighborhood restaurants. we loved franco. he gave us great advice on restaurants, transportation, etc. we felt safe and secure. the hotel had a bed and breakfast feel with a lot more privacy. would stay there again whenever in rome.

  Rather run down and stuffy - very disappointed - service good but air conditioner kicked off every night and we had to call desk at 3 am to get them to send someone up - the circuit breaker had to be reset - happened both nights. would not return.

  Chambre très propre à l'arrivée mais beaucoup moins à la fin du séjour.... les 3 premiers jours, on avait une femme de ménage trè professionnelle puis on en a changé car tout s'est dégradé au niveau de la propreté (lit, poussière...). le jus d'orange du petit-déjeuner est imbuvable. dommage pour un hotel de cette catégorie.

  Concierge was helpful and friendly but the hotel needs a good cleaning and repairs. we had a triple room that was smelly, dirty, walls needed painting and a washroom with dirty, moldy shower head and taps. we lost cold water temporarily in this room also but it was corrected quickly atleast. wireless connection was good and complimentary. i suspect other rooms were in better condition but stay away from room 501. i mentioned this when leaving so hopefully they clean and repair it in the future. in any case not a four star hotel.

  La bouche de métro est située à quelques mètres de l'hôtel. le personnel est accueillant et agréable. n'hésitez pas à demander conseil pour toute sortie dans rome (endroits sympas, n° de bus, etc.). notre chambre donnait sur une cour un peu sombre (au 1er étage) et nous avons parfaitement entendu la conversation téléphonique de notre voisine américaine... pourtant je recommande vivement cet hôtel qui est très calme. le petit déjeuner (buffet) est bien garni (salé et sucré). je regrette juste le côté un peu chimique des jus de fruits.

  L'hôtel est situé dans le centre, côté colisée avec entrée métro à 10m. il donne sur la place v. emanuele mais le quartier est un peu surprenant: une partie semble très populaire, cosmopolite et l'autre en revanche du côté de sta maria maggiore semble plus bourgeoise.notre chambre était relativement spacieuse et calme. le personnel polyglotte a été charmant, prévenant et a fait en sorte de rendre notre séjour très agréable. le buffet du petit-déjeuner était très copieux et les repas au restaurant donnaient également entière satisfaction. le réceptionniste nous a même facilité nos visites en effectuant lui-même la réservation de nos billets. donc vraiment un avis très favorable pour ce séjour romain. je précise aussi que nous avons bénéficié d'une promotion 6 nuits qui nous a permis d'être accueillis à notre arrivée à l'aéroport, d'avoir notre petit déjeuner compris et un repas offert au choix de la carte.merci à l'hôtel napoléon pour ce séjour sans faute!

  Location of hotel very good, on same metro line as vatican and spanish steps, very easy to get around the city. room was small but comfortable, room faced courtyard and no outside noise. staff very friendly and helpful. we got car to and from airport organised by hotel and was very handy. we had a fantastic stay in rome and we would return to this hotel without hesitation.

  Positive: the welcome and care is very good, they provide wifi (although partly down), have a good rest salon and restauration, but rooms are out dated and dark, hot water comes only after 5 mn waitng, meaning noise for neighbouring rooms + wasted water. if it was not rome, it would be very expensive

  The only problem we ran into during our stay was problems with internet access at the hotel. it was "down" for a couple of days which was rather annoying. with the size of the hotel i would recommend they add an additional internet access point so that you don't have to wait for another guest to finish. unfortunately everyone wants to use the internet at the same time which can cause some frustrations for those waiting.

  The hotel is less than 10 mins away from the colloseum and just beside a metro stop which makes it easy to get to from termini station. very clean with a nice airy seating area downstairs. all the staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to ensure an enjoyable stay. the food in the restaurant is good and very reasonably priced. the room is a little small for a 4 star hotel and the noise from the corridor does carry but we had particularly noisy neighbours. i would recomend this hotel and would use it again if i returned to rome.

  Très bon accueil, personnel très aimable. belles chambres de style et de caractère. difficile de dormir si les chambres voisines sont occupées par des étudiants bruyants... (le concierge a vite réglé le problème). très bon petit déjeuner. le prix promo était correct par rapport à l'offre pour rome (nous avons payé 296€ pour 2 nuits en chambre sup. avec pdj et un repas "offert"), le prix officiel (300€/nuit) trop élevé... le responsable de l'hôtel savait que nous fêtions nos 10 ans avec ma femme et donc bouteille de mousseux à l'arrivée...

  Die zimmer waren zum hinterhof gelegen, deshalb hörte man keinen lärm von der straße, was sehr positiv war. jedoch wurden im hotel und im hinterhof renovierungsarbeiten vorgenommen, weswegen es sehr laut war und man sich somit tagsüber nicht im zimmer aufhalten konnte. das frühstück ar nicht einem 4-sterne hotel angemessen, die rühreier waren fast kalt, in der obstschale befand sich verfaultes obst, das servicepersonal nicht überm. motiviert.... dieses hotel entspricht meiner meinung einem 3*-hotel!

  Mauvaise insonorisation due à des chambres communicantes. cet hôtel n'a pas de chambres fumeurs.

  Trés bon accueil,propre, calme, personnel multilingue et trés professionnel. rien à reprocher si ce n'est le manque de précision quand à la navette de l'hotel qui nous attendait à l'aéroport. mieux vaut convenir un endroit précis de rendez vous sous peine de galère garantie.

  Dans le descriptif est mentionné garage ; hors il s'agit d'un garage situé 3 rues plus loin est qui n'appartient pas à l'hotel et pour lequel la prestation est en plus du prix de la chambre .

  Très bel hôtel dans son ensemble, malheureusement quelque peu décentré du centre (mal désservi par le métro). chambre un peu limite pour un 4*.

  Service transfert aéroport extra. attention 1 seul trajet offert (pour 3 nuits minimum), le trajet de retour sera à vos frais. sortie de l'hotel juste à l'entrée du métro : excellent !

  Personale del ricevimento e servizio bar ristorante gentilissimo ed efficiente, mobilio delle camere da restaurare. ottima la locazione (la metro è proprio li sotto, nei dintroni numerosi ottimi ristoranti e trattorie, consiglio l'hotel a famiglie con figli piccoli). in generale giudizio più che positivo.

  Nous avions la chambre 210 qui est extensible en suite avec la chambre 209. la porte entre ces deux chambres est très mauvaise d'un point de vue phonique. nous avions l'impression que nos voisins étaient dans notre chambre. nous aurions préféré avoir la wifi dans la chambre et non dans le salon du 1er étage. sinon, hôtel très agréable et calme. personnel très agréable.

  Une très bonne adresse à 10 min du colisée. chambre spacieuse et calme, bonne situation face à une station de métro pour découvrir la ville, service de transfert aéroport/hôtel très appréciable à l'arrivée, personnel accueillant, bar dans un cadre très agréable, superbes salons et un petit déjeuner exquis. très bon rapport qualité prix . un service digne d'un 4 étoiles à prix raisonnable pour rome.
