  Chambre 209 : volet exterieur defectueux ne fermant pas - porte de la salle de bain frottant au sol, et donc difficile a manoeuvrer - robinetterie de la douche usee et defectueuse, jacuzzi = simple baignoire avec des jets... terrasse panoramique en toiture : aucune vue a part les immeubles voisins...

  Was very disappointed with the hotel. we stayed in 5 different hotels on our trip to italy, and this was by far the most disappointing. room was so small, that you couldn't even walk around the bed with your small suitcase on the ground. one of the front desk attendees couldn't speak enough english to answer simple questions. bed did not even get made up, nor towels delivered 2nd day, until we requested them late in the evening. the only of our 5 hotels that did not offer free wi-fi. we did pay for the wi-fi and then the connection was so incredibly slow, it took 5-10 minutes to just open our email account page. hotel photos on webpage depict a charming hotel with a beautiful view. had none of that. didn't even have a view from the roof top terrace, as the buildings on each side of it were taller than it.

  Staff at the hotel were outstanding. i unfortunately had my purse pickpocketed on the metro on the way to hotel after arrival at airport. staff at hotel gave me complimentary phonecall to visa company. gave us complimentary coffee and cakes and were outstandingly pleasant and helpful.

  Il est regrettable qu'un hotel 4 étoiles ne possède pas un hall d'entrée de dimensions acceptables. celui-ci en est dépourvu..

  Localisation proche d'une station de métro et à quelques minutes à pied de la basilique saint-pierre et du vatican et ses musées. situation idéale pour qui ne veut pas s'encombrer d'une voiture pour visiter rome et son centre historique. chambre bien insonorisée et d'un bon rapport taille/qualité/prix pour le centre de rome.

  Sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches personal, saubere jedoch eher kleinere zimmer, tolle dachterrasse für frühstück. weiterzuempfehlen.

  Petit hôtel sans services digne d'un hôtel 4* ;le petit déjeuner est servi sur la terrasse insuffisament chauffée au mois de décembre il fallait mettre les pulls pour prendre son petit déjeuner. nous avions pris une chambre supérieure et nous n'avons pas vu ce qu'elle avait de supérieure : nous n'avions qu'une douche et pas de baignoire.

  I stayed in room 303 for five nights in october 2008. i would recommend this hotel for those who don’t mind traffic noise and don’t need reliable internet services. i found it well located, just minutes from the vatican, and a short walk to a subway stop. the furnishings were adequate, the room clean, and the bed comfortable. the bathroom had a shower only, basic soap and shampoo, and an assortment of towels. the staff was uniformly accommodating. the minuses: the room was just big enough for the bed and a few other pieces of tiny furniture. traffic noise seeped into the room, despite the window’s sound-proofing. the pillows were hard and unyielding. biggest gripe: the hotel had sporadic and annoying wifi internet coverage, for which i paid 15 euros for 24 total hours. it worked poorly in the lounge area, and was all but unusable in my room. improving internet service would be top on my wish-list for this hotel, as reliable access has become indispensable to me while traveling.

  The hotel dei consoli was our refuge during 4 hot days in rome. the a/c was super as was the sound insulation, though we were on the alley side and not on the busy via de cola rienza. all staff were very friendly, rooftop breakfast with a view of st. peters was very good (even a few hot items, unusual for italy). our room was small but elegant, i highly recommend.

  Personnel très attentionné et accueil parfait à n'importe quelle heure du jour ou de la nuit il manque seulement une chambre de courtoisie, afin de pouvoir se changer à l'hotel avant de prendre son vol du soir

  Très bonne situation à 2 pas du vatican, 5 minutes du métro. très belle chambre, personnel sympa et petit déj. excellent pour rome (grand choix, ...). aucun défaut! rapport qualité/pix excellent pour rome, à recommander...

  Do doubt this hotel has been the best value for money when travelling on vacation and covering the costs by myself (it was not a business trip though it could have been served for that purpose as well). when returning to rome, i would definitely book this same hotel next time.

  The hotel is beautiful, quiet and conveniently located. i especially liked the crown molding and the general decor. very elegant and relaxing. we really enjoyed the five nights we spent there and would gladly visit again. we had one of the suites and my mother had one of the single rooms. while the rooms are not large, they are well organized and make the most of the space. i considered them to be fully satisfactory for a small hotel in the center of rome and the price was reasonable compared to some far less appealing rooms i've had in paris.
