  Great hotel in rome. 10-15 minutes walking from the vatican. the old city can be reached by taxi (under 10 euros). breakfast is great, many fresh fruits, croissants, juices, sparkling wine. i recommend the hotel restaurant at night (they had a seafood set menu during our visit) where we had our two best meals in roma. there is a nice modern pizzeria around the corner with a small terrace.
